The LG 27UD88-W offers a calibration feature that can help improve the image quality. But sadly, the calibration feature does not show any improvement in brightness, contrast and black level adjustments.

But it was able to make some impact on color accuracy. The average color error for LG 27UD88 is generally observed to be 3.97 but with calibration feature, it can be reduced up to 2.34. The pre- calibration of LG 27UD88-W is quite impressive that makes the appearance of colors more vivid, the picture offers depth, and 4K content looks sharp.

Performance:

The 27UD88-W delivers a strong and fast performance. With a 60 hertz refresh rate, the screen was keeping up with frame rates between 30 and 120 frames per second. Games didn’t suffer from tearing or stuttering and ran smoothly.

The input lag of the monitor is low with a maximum lag time of 9.8 milliseconds. Also, the 5ms response time helps gamers to have a fast gaming. In addition, it’s good at handling the shadow, light, color and greyscale details.

For AMD Freesync technology, turning it on delivered slightly faster frame rates and a slightly smoother gameplay experience.
